These new Alenza tyres will be equipped with Enliten, Bridgestone’s new base technology for premium tyre design in the EV era.
Bridgestone announced recently that it has been selected to power Foxconn’s subsidiary, Foxtron Vehicle Technologies’s Model C electric vehicles (EVs) with their range of Bridgestone Alenza 001 tyres. These tyres will be equipped with Enliten, Bridgestone’s new base technology for premium tyre design in the EV era. By supplying tyres with innovative tyre technology, “Enliten”, the company strives to achieve its corporate commitment to “Energy: Committed to the realization of a carbon neutral mobility society” described in its Bridgestone E8 Commitment.
“In the rapidly expanding electric vehicle industry, Bridgestone stands at the forefront with over 90 years of experience, a global presence that includes more than 180 factories and research facilities, and a strong track record of collaboration with renowned automakers worldwide,” said Mr Takehiko Oshima, Senior Manager of BSFC.
“As the electric vehicle market demands faster development and higher performance standards, Bridgestone is committed to continually developing top-quality products. Bridgestone’s ENLITEN-equipped tires are designed to reduce tire rolling resistance and weight. These characteristics significantly enhance driving control and also provide a quieter and more comfortable driving experience for all.”
For the Alenza 001, the introduction of Enliten technology has significantly reduced overall rolling resistance, along with noise performance, and traction. These factors make it an ideal choice for premium SUVs and electric vehicle owners.
In addition to this collaboration, Foxtron and Bridgestone plan to continue their partnership, focusing on a range of new EV models.
