Bridgestone has recently unveiled its latest offering, the Bridgestone Dueler All-Terrain A/T002, a premium all-terrain tyre that grants 4×4 drivers unrivalled control over any type of terrain. 

The Bridgestone Dueler All-Terrain A/T002 boasts an aggressive tyre design that excels in adapting and reacting to various terrains. Its innovative hexagonal block shape and pattern architecture ensure exceptional traction and well-balanced braking performance on different surfaces.

Furthermore, the tyre is able to self-clean upon returning to asphalt. Nice touch.

When it comes to grip, this tyre is adept in both wet and dry conditions thanks to its high silica compound translating to superior adhesion on wet surfaces. The tyre is certified with 3PMSF and M+S markings, attesting to its winter-ready nature and compliance with winter tyre legislation.

What sets this tyre apart is its remarkable improvement in mileage, boasting a 40% increase compared to its predecessor. This is made possible by maximizing the tyre’s footprint width, optimising the contact patch, and deepening the skid depth. 

Emilio Tiberio, Chief Technical Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Bridgestone EMIA, emphasised the essence of this tyre, stating, “With the new Bridgestone Dueler All-Terrain A/T002, we offer all 4×4 drivers the confidence and control they need to push their vehicles to their full potential in tackling both on- and off-road conditions.” Bridgestone’s comprehensive market research highlights the drivers’ desire for freedom, adventure, safety, and peace of mind, regardless of whether they use their 4×4 vehicles for work or leisure.

Designed and manufactured in Europe, the tyre will be available in an extensive range of 43 sizes, catering to various vehicle specifications. Bridgestone’s tyre development process for this all-terrain wonder involved rigorous testing at their European R&D Centre using Virtual Tyre Development technology. This sustainable approach allows for the creation and virtual testing of tyre prototypes, leading to substantial savings in raw materials and reduced CO2 emissions during the development phase.

This tyre is also part of Bridgestone’s E8 Commitment – a commitment to ecological responsibility. Additionally, this tyre draws from Bridgestone’s invaluable experience and expertise gained while developing the original fitment tyre for the Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato.
