Bridgestone has announced its latest tyre, the Battlax Sport Touring T33, a premium sport touring tyre built to keep up with the long hauls and sharp turns of dedicated riders.
Set to hit the roads in January 2025, the Battlax Sport Touring T33 is a performance overhaul that brings enhanced mileage, refined handling, and Bridgestone’s signature wet-weather reliability to the next level.
What’s New?
Bridgestone says the T33 offers a whopping 47% improvement in mileage over its predecessor, the T32. The T33 have also been fine-tuned to deliver even more stability and handling finesse than the T32, so you can lean in with a bit more peace of mind.
Both the front and rear tyres sport an updated pattern design, giving them an optimised land-sea ratio to strike the right mix between stability and grip. With the addition of a new compound and flexible construction, the T33 delivers a solid, balanced feel that stays true across light and heavy bikes alike.
The front tyre gets a new cross belt for added support, while the rear is reinforced with an MS belt that maintains a consistent grip even during the rigours of long-distance rides. The new compound features a high-strength, wear-resistant polymer engineered to keep the tyre in top shape even after thousands of miles. Less slippage, more grip.
Why This Matters
Touring riders need tyres they can rely on, whether they’re tackling tight corners, open highways, or those unpredictable downpours that can make or break a ride. Bridgestone’s T33 aims to bring riders peace of mind through consistent, durable performance, setting the stage for long, enjoyable tours without the nagging worry about tyre wear or grip in less-than-ideal weather.
It’s all part of Bridgestone’s larger commitment, which they call “Emotion: Committed to inspiring excitement and spreading joy to the world of mobility.” Through the Battlax line, Bridgestone is actively investing in the joy of riding.
When it launches in 2025, the Battlax Sport Touring T33 will be available in four front sizes and six rear sizes. And if you’re looking for something a bit different, Bridgestone plans to roll out five more sizes by 2026, so there’ll be options for a variety of bikes.
