Goodbye Batman tyres, and hello fresh rubber. The BYD Atto 3 is getting an upgrade.
BYD has given the green light to Continental Tyres as an OEM supplier for its all-electric Atto 3.

Previously, Atto 3s in Singapore18 were supplied with Atlas Batman A51 tyres. Yes, Batman.
The tyres were questionable at best, both in grip and origin story. But, thankfully 2024 brings about new changes, and upcoming cars will feature 18-inch EcoContact 6 Q premium tyres.
Continental’s developers have been concocting a special rubber compound for the EcoContact 6 Q that minimises energy absorption while the vehicle is cruising along. This means less friction, lower rolling resistance, and more miles for your charge.

The premium tyres promise exceptional grip on both dry and wet roads, ensuring that sudden showers won’t dampen any driving experience. Add to that excellent cornering stability, even at high speeds, and short braking distances, and you’ve got a tyre that’s safe, reliable, and fun to drive.
It’s no wonder that in 2022, nine out of the top ten electric vehicle manufacturers worldwide chose Continental as their go-to for original equipment.
The tyre line and size approved for the BYD Atto 3 are as follows: EcoContact 6 Q, sized at 235/50 R18 101V XL.
