Launched on July 17, this Hankook Tire campaign film showcases the performance and premium image of ‘iON’ electric racing tyres.

The film highlights the synergy between cutting-edge electric race cars and Hankook’s iON Race tyres. It’s a visual feast, bringing to life the raw power and precision of Formula E racing.

The film was manufactured to showcase the performance of the electric vehicle iON racing tyres, which Hankook Tire exclusively supplies to Formula E. In particular, the film emphasised that iON will be adequately equipped to supply all teams participating in Formula E, including teams from high-performance supercar brands such as McLaren, Maserati, and Porsche.

One part of the video focuses on the Hankook iON tyre mounted on the strongest Formula E electric racing car, dubbed GEN3, which has a maximum speed of 320km/h while racing.

As the exclusive tyre supplier for the Formula E championship, Hankook has since launched the world’s first full lineup of electric vehicle-specific tyres under the iON brand. They’re one of the go-to brands for original equipment (OE) tyres for major EV models from global automakers.
