Embrace Winter With Confidence With New Michelin Alpin 7

Winter driving can be tricky business, but with the brand-new Michelin Alpin 7 winter tyre, these winter woes just got a whole lot lighter.

The latest from Michelin’s renowned Alpin line, this tyre is designed to deliver exceptional safety and performance during the cold months while keeping energy consumption in check.

The Michelin Alpin range has long been a go-to for winter drivers, and this seventh generation continues that proud tradition. Michelin has been refining the Alpin series for years, with over 13 million tyres sold across 32 countries.

According to tests carried out by UTAC in Finland, this tyre excels in all the key areas: grip on snowy, wet roads, improved braking, and longevity. The Alpin 7 uses a new rubber compound specifically designed for low temperatures, giving you the grip you need when accelerating, braking, and cornering. It also features a clever directional tread design, which helps you maintain control when the weather’s at its worst. The increased sipe rate improves grip on wet and snowy roads, enhancing braking by 6%.

Michelin’s expertise in 3D metal printing has allowed them to craft some incredibly complex tyre molds. What does that mean for you? Progressive sipes that reveal new grooves as the tyre wears down, keeping performance consistent throughout the tyre’s lifespan.

Thanks to the 9% reduction in rolling resistance, these tyres help reduce energy consumption, which is especially important if you’re driving an electric or hybrid vehicle. Plus, this tyre is fully aligned with new EU regulations coming into effect in July that focus on the performance of used tyres. Michelin’s aim is to ensure that the Alpin 7 keeps performing at its best until it hits the wear indicator, so you can make the most out of every mile.

The Michelin Alpin 7 will be available in 62 different sizes, ranging from 15 to 20 inches, making it suitable for most mid-range sedans. Whether you’re driving a petrol-powered car, a hybrid, or an all-electric vehicle, there’s likely an Alpin 7 that fits your ride.
