For years, the Scorpion name has been synonymous with top-notch SUV performance. But now, with the XTM, Pirelli is adding a whole new dimension to that legacy. They’ve cranked the performance dial up to “extreme,” aiming for the adventurer who likes a bit of grit and doesn’t mind getting a little dirt under their wheels.

“North America is a unique and demanding market,” says Claudio Zanardo, CEO of Pirelli North America. “And the XTM is our answer to those challenges, a tyre that can handle the diverse terrains of this region with ease.”

Using Pirelli’s ELECT technology, the Pirelli Scorpion XTM is optimised for electric vehicles, emphasising low rolling resistance and noise reduction. Sporting a high-void tread pattern, it’s built to chew through dirt, gravel, and mud without missing a beat. The reinforced shoulder technology adds extra armour, so when rocks and debris try to take a swipe at your sidewalls, the XTM just shrugs them off.

There’s also the 3-Peak Mountain Snowflake (3PMSF) rating. If you’ve ever white-knuckled it through a snowstorm, you know how important this badge is. Launching in LT (Light Truck) and P-Metric sizes, the XTM will cover a range of popular models.
